Plain-language summary

LearnFlow is a small tutoring site. The current static version is designed to use as little personal information as possible. It is not a place to submit medical, financial, identity, or other sensitive information.

Information used by the current site

• The student name entered on the sign-in page is matched by the sign-in service; names are not listed on the public landing page.
• When the authentication Worker/KV service is connected, PINs are stored as one-way hashes and are never shown in the student or admin interface.
• Sign-in state is kept temporarily in the browser’s session storage so the student can move between pages.
• Practice answers and progress may be saved in the browser’s local storage so work is not lost on refresh.

What we do not do

We do not sell student information, show targeted advertising, or ask students to publish personal details. Students should never enter an address, phone number, private school record, or another person’s information.

School and family guidance

A teacher, parent, or school technology administrator should decide whether and how students use this site. NYC Public Schools devices and networks may monitor activity and apply their own filters and rules. Those rules control access even when a page is educational.

Future changes

If a server, analytics service, account system, or other data-handling feature is added, this policy must be updated before that feature is used with students. Questions or requests should go through the teacher or site administrator’s approved school channel.
